My machine is Dell E in its lowest configuration and default video card, et cetera. However under screen resolution when I right click on my desktop it still will not let me change and only shows X 19000×1080 I right clicked went to screen resolution and Evp which is the name of my monitor I’m trying to set, I selected make this my main display and nothing really change still can’t select the right resolution.

I am going to get a short DVI extension cable to extend my 20 foot cable and cut the EDID pins off the short cable to see if this 1900×10080 me to select x in clone mode. I have tried what you suggested above and it seems as if my computer is now confused as to which is which.
